Algorithms for DriveLock BitLocker Management

BitLocker Management uses the following algorithms that are based on the operating systems in use. The methods of the relevant previous versions are also supported. See System requirements.

The default algorithm for data drives is AES 128 (this is the most compatible algorithm for almost all operating systems).

Make sure to select the right algorithm. The above standard algorithms are the best choice in this case. When you integrate existing BitLocker environments, choosing the right one will affect how fast DriveLock can decrypt and re-encrypt the environment.
